At Diverse Workplace our mission is to help organizations create a culturally diverse and inclusive workplace that fosters diversity, including minority and women professionals, at all levels. With a solid reputation of success and excellence dating back to 1973 we have the knowledge, skills, networks, and resources to identify and recruit highly qualified candidates.

Our mission is to partner with a select group of clients to find, recruit, hire and retain the best fit for their organization. We represent all highly qualified candidates; however our particular areas of expertise are in identifying, recruiting, qualifying and presenting diversity candidates.

Based on relevant, real world experience we share information on diversity recruiting and cultural awareness with client leaders who have demonstrated that they are committed to establishing, nurturing, and maintaining an inclusive workplace.

After 27 years in the executive search industry conducting diversity searches, Frank X. McCarthy, a diversity recruiting pioneer, sold the company he founded. He established Diverse Workplace Inc. in 2004.

Before he became involved in recruiting diversity executives, Frank was a Catholic priest in the Diocese of Paterson, NJ. He served as a paratrooper chaplain with tours in Korea, Japan, and the 101st Airborne Division. He later became pastor of an inner-city parish in Paterson where he was involved in many projects in the African American and Latino communities. In 1970, he joined the Office of Economic Opportunity in Boston. He received an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College.

Frank is a former President of the Massachusetts Professional Placement Consultants (www.mppc.com). He currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees of the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center (www.bnhc.org) which provides health services to over 13,000 patients.

The staff of Diverse Workplace works on a consultant basis. There are five researchers, who are located in Massachusetts, New York, Florida, and New Jersey and three candidate developers who are situated in Boston, Northern Florida, and Indiana.
